Radoviš is a nice town, where the urban way of life has overcome the everyday routine of its inhabitants. It is renowned for the poetry event Karamanov's meetings, in memory of Aco Karamanov, Macedonian poet and revolutionary from this town.
In the Radoviš village of Konče, 20 km to the south from the town, there is a monastery that also bears the name of Konče, which dates from earlier than the 14th century, with a church dedicated to St. Stephen. This monastery was a very important spiritual and religious center with well-developed monastic life in the beautiful and spacious lodgings (konaci). Because of these lodgings the name - Konče - was given to the monastery and the village.
