| Not far from two Hospital churches, at the time when Zupan Andrea Gropa governed Ohrid, the reverend Stefan built the church Small St. Clement in 1378 as his legacy. | |
The story that has been told by Ohrid’s people says that when the monastery St. Panteleimon was converted into a mosque, the relics of St. Clement of Ohrid were transferred to this church, and only after in the church Holy Mother of God Perivlepta (today St. Clement).
The church St. Clement is small one nave construction with three-side apse, hemispherical arch and door on the south side.
The fresco-decorations originate from the same year-1378 and among the more significant compositions would be mentioned the ones that illustrate "Great Feasts".
From the individual images great attention deserve the images of St. Clement Ohridski, St. Naum Ohridski and St. Nikola Mirracle - Worker.
In the apsidal part there is a presentation of Holy Mother of God Sirsaja, from both of her sides escorted with one angel.
In the church there are number of icons dated 19th century.
