With its excellent location in the direction Prilep-Demir Kapija – Thessaloniki, this city quickly grew into an important administrative place of the Turkish Empire, an important craftsmen and trade center, in permanent communication with the surrounding cities and villages.
At present, Kavadarci is the main center of the Tikveš region, a city where urban lifestyle and modern times have seized everyday life of its citizens.
