It is constructed in 1558/1559 with square base and covered with cupola. A minaret around 40 meters high is annexed to the mosque. The mosque has porch with three cupolas. The whole space is fenced with walls so

a hall with granite and marble columns is formed. The capitols of the columns are richly treated and the entrance is richly profiled.

Today the premises of the Jeni mosque are used for permanent and temporary exhibitions.
