Husein Shah - Pasha mosque

At 12 km to the west from Skopje, in the village of Saraj, there are a mosque and a turbe (tomb) erected by the pasha Husein Shah in the second half of the 16th century. They are simple buildings positioned on a square basis and with domed ceilings. There are preserved manuscripts that state that in their vicinity, a medresa (religious school) was erected by the same pasha.
